Speaker Bio: Don Largent is the Director of High Purity Product Management for AAF Flanders and has been actively involved in global High Purity Filtration, Containment, and Chem-Bio-Radiological-Nuclear (CBRN) protection industries since 2006. Don holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from Loyola University, Maryland.
Prior to his tenure at AAF Flanders, Don was responsible for Global Sales, Marketing, and Technical Services for Air Techniques International (ATI), a leading supplier of HEPA/ULPA media, HEPA/ULPA filter, and respiratory protective device testing instrumentation. He also has experience in Technical Sales, Technical Marketing, Application Engineering, and Warranty Management roles for top tier, international HVAC equipment and Elevator manufacturing companies.
Don actively participates in standards development and filtration industry organizations and committees such as the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), Institute of Environmental Sciences and Technology (IEST), Controlled Environmental Testing Association (CETA), a member of the US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO Technical Committee (TC) 209 (supporting ISO 14644), participates in US Technical Advisory Group (TAG) to ISO Technical Committee (TC) 142 (supporting ISO 29463), ASME Code on Nuclear Air and Gas Treatment (CONAGT), and the Harvard School of Public Health – In Place Filter Testing Workshop, and Nuclear HVAC Utilities Group (NHUG).
