January Meeting - "Employee Safety at American Water Company"

Meeting Summary:

Safety of employees is a top priority to Pennsylvania American Water.  We want everyone to go home in the same or better condition than they came to work.  The presentation will discuss various approaches to employee safety and will specifically focus on winter safety with a detailed presentation of the snow melt system installed at the facility.

Speaker Bio:

Joel Mitchell is Manager Engineering – Facilities for Pennsylvania American Water.  He has been with the company since 2005 in the engineering department and most recently served as Senior Project Manager overseeing the construction of the new Capital Campus building, the Green Tree Operations Center, and various other building projects across the state.  He hold a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from Penn State University and an MBA from Lebanon Valley College.  He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Pennsylvania. In his current role he has oversight responsibilities for all facilities across the state of Pennsylvania.
